Disability Inclusion Consultant
CHRISTINE BRUNO received her MFA in acting and directing from the New School, and works nationally and internationally as an actor, director, teaching artist, and disability inclusion consultant for the entertainment industry, universities, theatre conferences, nonprofit and for-profit companies and organizations. She is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio, a company member of Theatre Breaking Through Barriers, New Jersey Rep, Emerging Artists Theatre; sits on the Advisory Boards of National Disability Theatre and Queens Theatre’s TFA program and is a member of the Leadership Council of New York Shakespeare Exchange. Christine is a teaching artist for Queens Theatre’s TFA program and NYC Kids Project. Her selected Off-Broadway and regional theatre credits include world premieres of Bekah Brunstetter’s Public Servant (Off-Broadway); The Maids (adaptation by Jose Rivera); The Good Daughter; musicals The Ugly Girl and Raspberry (UK tours); the award-winning short play, Larry Gets the Call; her solo show, Screw You, Jimmy Choo!; and The Glass Menagerie. Her TV and film credits include God Friended Me, Law & Order, Hungry, Best Summer Ever (SXSW), The Incoherents, iGilbert, the award-winning short, Trouble on High, award-winning independent features Flatbush Luck and This is Where We Live (SXSW), Able: A Series (Amazon)Christine sits on the NY Local Board of SAG-AFTRA, is Chair of the NY SAG-AFTRA Performers with Disabilities (PWD) Committee, serves on the SAG-AFTRA National PWD and Actors’ Equity EEOC Committees, is a founding member of the Disability Cohort of Time’s Up’s 5050by2020.
