I'm a local area playwright.  I've just completed a new draft of a new play that I am trying to bring to market in these most challenging times.  It's an homage to that classic American movie "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner."  That was the story of a young black man (Sydney Poitier) meeting the parents of his white girlfriend (Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn) for the first mime.  My play "Benefit of the Doubt" has the same premise but it has a twist.  It's set in 2017, not 1967.  Also the parents are Southern Conservatives and the black guy is kind of "Woke."  My play is much more combustible than the original... At least I hope so...
