An African American woman in her late 40’s prepares for her wedding. There’s just one problem…she’s not engaged and hasn’t dated anyone in six years. But, she has faith. She’s been told in a vision that she’ll be married by the end of the year. To help things along, she accosts three different men at her job. They all report her to human resources for sexual harassment. And that’s when life gets wonky…

This sharply written play uses humor and wit to ask: what are the subtleties between living a life of faith and living with mental illness? And where does the mantle of authority and responsibility lie when faith-based institutions don’t take into account the true lived realities of their members?
