Feedback form is now closed.
Helen Garcia-Alton, lighting designer and 3rd year MFA Candidate at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville discusses how to design the light in your home to best support virtual performance. This session covers how to choose lighting angles, locations, and sources, as well as how to modify them for your needs. As Zoom Theatre is an evolving style, "At-Home Lighting Design" is based in discovery. Participants should bring an open and curious mind and be ready to play!

Part 1 will involve an hour of discussion, and then the assignment of an accessible text (monologue/poem). In Part 2, you will share your designs and your techniques with the class for review. You are strongly encouraged to attend both sessions!

NOTE: This is a ticketed event. Please visit our Eventbrite to purchase a ticket.
This session will begin at 3:00 pm ET on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020.
Its link to join will only be visible to those registered and signed in to their Sched account.
