This session is an open-level movement class for dancers and movers alike. Including a discussion of the ways that dancing is beneficial for all artists and how it can assist in their creative practices, it will conclude with a 40-45 minute improvisation-based movement class. "Aggressive Movement for Dancers" shares improvisation scores that can be used for warming up the body and voice, as well as movement prompts to help dancers, actors, and directors with character development and plot development. Participants can expect to explore movement exercises that will help with mental and physical focus and relaxation techniques.

NOTE: This is a ticketed event. Please visit our Eventbrite to purchase a ticket.
This session will begin at 7:00 pm ET on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020.
