"Virtual Theatre" is a series geared towards overcoming the obstacles posed by new artistic formats. Through several sessions, participants will learn the technical and instructional fundamentals of virtual theater development and performance. Using the CREW Model, they will understand an implementation model that includes all key aspects from roles and performance experience to logistics and facilitation. Despite the hurdles inherent to online theatre, the series prepares participants with the tools necessary to amplify the experiences of rehearsals and performances, including options for audience interaction, insight on how actors can work and interact with a camera in a home studio setup, and other uses for virtual theatre.
The training contains three sessions: Getting Started, The CREW Model, and Punching Up.
Part 1, Getting Started, offers participants the technical and instructional fundamentals of virtual theater development and performance.
