"What Do You See?” is an interactive, improvisational storytelling workshop where participants look at pictures and tell a story about what they see. Workshop facilitator Alexus Rhone of Truth Meet Story, LLC, knows the photographers and the stories behind each picture. The purpose of the workshop is to explore surface beliefs and implicit biases we hold when evaluating African Americans engaged in daily life.

This workshop ends with participants examining three things:
1. What does it feel like to tell someone else’s story?
2. Who are our sources of information about the lived realities of African Americans?
3. Are our sources accurate and/or trustworthy?

NOTE: This is a ticketed event. Please visit our Eventbrite to purchase a ticket.
This session will begin at 11:00 am ET on Monday, July 13th, 2020.
Its link to join will only be available to those registered and signed in to their Sched account.
