Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, playwright and filmmaker. She has written and produced original works at Studio 1 in Burlington, NC, the Steven Hyers Theatre in Greensboro, NC and the Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh, NC. She has been a panelist for NC Sips & Scripts productions and an associate producer with Other Only Windows in Raleigh, NC. She is an active member of ASCAP, Dramatists Guild, the LA Play Reading Group, the PlayGround Experiment, and the NYC Short Film Club where her upcoming film "Positive Self-Talk" is in post-production.  A mother of three school-aged children, she lives in central North Carolina with her husband, kids and rescue dog.
